Description by Michael Welch:  #108 Around one-eighth jar handle. Pottery color is pinkish brown with white grits throughout and a black core. Bears an H2D impression. Out of LMLK on the top, the first two top strokes of the Mem, part of the second Lamed, and the head of the Kaph remain. Out of HBRN on the bottom, the far left stroke of the head of the Beth, and most of the Resh and Nun remain. About one-forth of the two-winged sun disc emblem remains, including part of the bottom three rays of the sun. Concentric Circles were incised into the left side of the two-winged sun disc destroying most of the left wing and the bottom of the second Lamed and the tail of the Kaph. It appears that the device doing the incising may be some type of metal augering device, with a center hole three or four times larger and set deeper than the outer cutting rings. There are a few skips here and there, making the incised circles deeper and thinner in places. A grayish white patinae covers the circles in a few places. The outer left middle area of the first incised circle is somewhat weathered.
