Description by Michael Welch:  #5 One-third to one-half handle.  Pottery color is pinkish red-brick with white and gray grits throughout and a black core.  Bears a H4L impression.  Out of LMLK on the top, a trace of the second Lamed remains along with most of the Kaph.  Out of HBRN on the bottom, part of a blurred Heth and Beth along with the top head of the Resh and Nun remain.  The impression was made on very wet clay; thus, most of the letters filled in.  The way the handle was broken off, probably in antiquity, cut into the legs of the Resh and the Nun.  The four-winged scarab emblem is complete with half of the raised rectangle in the center remaining.  Where the handle meets the jar pottery, two fingerprints remain, presumably made by the potter.  An old black ink #6 from a previous collection remains on the bottom.
