Note:  The hollow region seen in the cross-section of this handle is about 0.5" wide & 0.5" deep.

Description by Michael Welch:  #3 One-half handle with a small amount of jar pottery on the bottom.  Pottery color is red-brick with white grits throughout and a black core.  Bears a H4C type impression.  Out of LMLK on the top, most of the Mem, second Lamed, and Kaph remain.  Out of HBRN on the bottom, only part of the Nun remains.  About two-thirds of the realistic four-winged scarab remains.
